What benefits are offered to new partners?

There are many benefits to being a partner of the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce including access to marketing tools, networking opportunities and promotion.

How much does a ribbon cutting cost?

As a service to our partners, we conduct ribbon cutting and groundbreaking ceremonies at no cost. Contact the Chamber at (270) 781-3200 for more information.

I want to become more involved with the Chamber. What do I need to do?

If you are not a Chamber Partner the first step is to JOIN. You can join online in the Chamber section.

Chamber partners receive the Chamber Connection monthly newsletter. This publication keeps the partnership updated on Chamber events and activities you can attend and participate. The Chamber also has several committees that assist in helping accomplish the goals relating to the Chamber's Strategic Plan. Partners can sign up for these committees at anytime during the year. Also, feel free to contact a Chamber staff person, board member or ambassador to discuss where you might best fit or where you could be best utilized.

I want to start my own business and am looking for funding. Can the Chamber help me?

The Chamber can assist with information and direction that might be helpful but we are not a funding organization for start up companies. The Chamber coordinates with SCORE (Service Corp of Retired Executives) who can provide business advice and assist with business plans free of charge. Also, the Chamber has a large number of benefits, networking events and promotional opportunities that you can take advantage of as a Chamber Partner to help give you business the exposure it'll need. The Chamber does have a publication that outlines the contacts and resources you'll need to know to get started. You can find "How to Start a Business in the Bowling Green Area" on our website.
