Bowling Green is one of the 20 finalists for the All-America City Award

The City of Bowling Green has been announced as one of the finalists for the All -America City Award. To apply, officials from each community submitted issues about their community and solutions they used to overcome the problem. The Bowling Green Mayor Elaine Walker and Vicki Fitch, executive director of the Bowling Green Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, were some of the individuals who helped put the application together. According to a spokesman from the civic league ten communities will receive the designation on June 18.
