Vector Horizon Technologies to Expand Operations

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – April 30, 2015 –Vector Horizon Technologies, a leader in the clean power and renewable energy industries, announced their upcoming expansion project in Bowling Green today. The project will bring a total of 20 new jobs to the region.

“Vector Horizon Technologies, LLC has been very fortunate to be a part of the Bowling Green and Warren County community for the past five years,” said Jon Bigley, VHTek president. “This community and cooperation with the WKU Center for Research and Development and Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce have been extremely helpful in our development and now growth plans.”

Located in the WKU Small Business Accelerator, VHTek designs, develops and produces advanced mechatronic devices that controls engine emissions. Additionally, VHTek provides their customers with custom engineered components and assemblies on a prototype and/or volume production basis, and consulting services. VHTek has been in Bowling Green since late 2009.

The WKU Small Business Accelerator, located in the Center for Research and Development, provides clients with business support services and community resources to help them get established and grow during the start-up period. Direct management assistance and technical and support services are provided to clients. Currently, 18 businesses, including VHTek, are housed in the Small Business Accelerator.

In 2015, the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce’s announced projects will bring a total capital investment of more than $293,189,600 and create 570 new jobs in South Central Kentucky.
