BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – May 11, 2015 – Today, EVINE Live, a digital commerce company, celebrated the grand opening of their expanded distribution and call center located in Bowling Green.

The expansion project, which began in mid-2014, includes the addition of more than 300,000 square feet, bringing the company’s Nashville Road facility to a total of 600,000 square feet, and the installation of a new warehouse management system that will improve the ordering and shipping process. Over the next three years, the project will bring a total capital investment of $25 million to the region and create up to 150 new, full-time positions, bringing EVINE Live’s total number of employees in Bowling Green to more than 500.

“When EVINE Live realized it had to expand to keep up with customer demand, it could have increased operations elsewhere, but instead chose to grow right here in the Commonwealth,” said Lieutenant Governor Crit Luallen. “We’re pleased to see the continued growth in Warren County. I want to thank the company for investing in our workforce and hundreds of Kentucky families.”

EVINE Live’s distribution and call center has been located in Bowling Green since 1997. The expansion project, which was built by Scott, Murphy & Daniel, will have a total economic impact of more than $100 million over the next 10 years.

“I am thrilled to be here in Bowling Green today to celebrate the grand opening of our new facility,” said Mark Bozek, CEO of EVINE Live. “This expansion project will further our company’s growth initiatives while providing a superior customer experience through the use of new tools and resources. The support we’ve received from the community, Bowling Green Chamber and local officials has been invaluable and I look forward to many more years calling South Central Kentucky our home.”

EVINE Live is a digital commerce company available in more than 88 million U.S. homes, in addition to online, mobile and social media availability. The company merges entertainment with shopping in an interactive experience offering unique and exclusive brands and products in jewelry, watches, beauty and health, kitchen and food, home, fashion, consumer electronics and more.

“On behalf of the community, I would like to congratulate EVINE Live on their expansion and thank them for their support,” said Mayor Bruce Wilkerson. “The company’s commitment to our community shows loyalty and respect to our great workforce. I’m excited to see EVINE Live’s future achievements and am glad Bowling Green will continue to contribute to them.”

“We’re always so glad to see existing industry growth in Bowling Green,” said Mike Buchanon, Warren County Judge-Executive. “EVINE Live’s continued investment in our community proves we’re an ideal location for businesses looking to succeed. Between excellent geographic location, a skilled workforce and low cost of doing business, South Central Kentucky offers many great benefits to companies.”

“Over the last decade, EVINE Live has been a key member of the South Central Kentucky business community,” said Tommy Adams, Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce board chairman. “We’re so proud of the company’s successes, providing stable jobs for many of our residents, and can’t wait to see how the new expansion will continue to grow their business in coming years. I want to provide thanks to the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development, the City of Bowling Green and Warren County for their support and assistance through the project.”

In 2015, the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce’s announced projects will bring a total capital investment of more than $293,189,600 and create 570 new jobs in South Central Kentucky.
