Bowling Green, Ky. (October 29, 2015) - Today, Kobe Aluminum Automotive Products, LLC (KAAP) announced a $57 million expansion at their Bowling Green facility that will create 112 new jobs for South Central Kentucky and represents an economic impact of more than $234 million to the South Central economy over the next 10 years.
This new expansion will encompass the purchase of 31 acres and the addition of 116,000 square feet to their facility in the South Central Kentucky Industrial Park, as well as the addition of equipment including two new forging presses, a new melting furnace, and several new production lines. The expansion will allow KAAP to undertake substantial new sales volume.

Kobe Aluminum Automotive Products, LLC, began production in Bowling Green, Kentucky, in 2005 and has expanded 5 times since then investing a total of $236 million and creating 378 new jobs in South Central Kentucky.
