The mission of the Workforce Development Committee is to help employers attract, recruit, retain and advance qualified workers and help low-skilled, low-wage workers enhance in their skills, obtain jobs and find opportunities for employment stability.

Workplace Initiatives
The committee continues to support employers through various workplace initiatives such as the Warren County Industrial Training Consortium, the Strategic Business Alliance and the Young Professionals of Bowling Green. The committee encourages participation in the development of a region-wide labor market survey, helping identify gaps in worker's skills and industry needs to then begin providing solutions.
Work Ethic Seal Program
The committee is constantly enhancing and expanding the award-winning Work Ethic Seal Program helping prepare high school seniors for the transition from school to work and life beyond the classroom.

Informational Program
The committee is developing an informational program to communicate to business, industry and other entities in the region awareness of existing educational resources and the value of the Kentucky Employability Certificate and the Work Keys Program.
