Our 1,300+ partners are the strength of the Chamber. Even though we are the 4th largest chamber in the state, we are still challenged with the reality that more than 1,000 Bowling Green and Warren County businesses are not investing in the Chamber and its efforts.
In 2007, we've amped up our recruitment efforts by sponsoring a weeklong Battle of the Bands Partnership Drive in July. Teams of volunteers were anxious to start recruiting new partners and to enjoy a little friendly competition along the way. Our goal is for 150 businesses/organizations to join the Chamber as new partners by the end of 2007.
We kicked off the Drive with a special red-carpet evening, during which "rock stars" from the past and present visited the Chamber for a celebration. Teams got into the spirit by dressing in costumes, playing Name That Tune, and talking to the Chamber's very own Joan and Melissa Rivers after passing the security guard on the red carpet.
