Leadership Bowling Green


Leadership Bowling Green is a leadership development program coordinated by the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce. The program, which began in 1985, involves seven day- sessions and two overnight retreats.The program begins in March with orientation and ends in November with graduation. 

Applications become available the 1st week of December and are due by the end of January. After applications are submitted, 32 individuals are then chosen each year to participate in Leadership Bowling Green. During the nine sessions, the class studies the community's strengths and challenges through lectures, discussions, tours and role-playing activities. The goal is to gain a wide knowledge about Bowling Green through an overview of a variety of community functions.

All materials, meals and lodging are included in the $1,200 tuition fee.
