• Industry Appreciation Golf Classic

As part of the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce's increased efforts to recognize targeted businesses throughout South Central Kentucky, we have changed the focus of the Industry Appreciation Month to be "Business & Industry Appreciation Month" and will be celebrating in September rather than October. Targeted businesses are those that do more than 50% of their business outside of the state, bringing new dollars into our region and to our businesses and families.

Industry Appreciation Golf Classic

The Industry Appreciation Golf Classic, sponsored by Scott, Murphy & Daniel, LLC, is held annually at The Club at Olde Stone. Early bird activities begin at 9 a.m., with a shotgun start at 11 a.m.

Business & Industry Appreciation Banquet

The Business & Industry Appreciation Banquet is the premier event of the month. In addition to presenting the awards listed below, we are working on securing a high-ranking official as the keynote speaker.

Awards

During the program, we will honor not only the Business of the Year, but also companies winning awards in the following categories:

• Business Expansion Awards: For South Central Kentucky companies that expanded their operations, investing capital and creating jobs for local residents.
• Newcomer Awards: For new-to-South Central Kentucky companies that announced their location here.
• Export Excellence Awards: For South Central Kentucky companies with new or significant increase in documented export sales.
• Green-to-Gold Awards: For South Central Kentucky companies that-through product or process-best exemplify "green" leadership as it pertains to the region's goal to become a leader in this emerging field.
• Business Innovation Awards: For South Central Kentucky companies that-through product or process-best exemplify innovative leadership.

Women in Industry Breakfast

We will host Women in Industry Breakfast, sponsored by The Medical Center and Graves-Gilbert Clinic, is held annually at The Medical Center Auditorium.
