The Leadership Bowling Green Class of 2026 traded their desks for denim on October 15 for Agri-Business Day, diving into the farms, fields, and food systems that power South Central Kentucky. From exploring sustainable farming at Triple Oaks Farms to touring WKU’s Agriculture Research & Education Center and enjoying a true farm-to-table lunch at Chaney’s Dairy Barn, participants gained a firsthand look at the innovation and passion fueling our region’s agricultural success.

Bowling Green–based Inked Brands is investing $10.7 million to expand its local operations, creating 20 new Kentucky jobs and strengthening its roots in the community. Founded locally over a decade ago, the technology-driven consumer products company has grown into a national player with partnerships including Target. The expansion reflects Inked’s commitment to innovation, local talent, and the region’s continued economic growth.

The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce honored 13 exceptional businesses during its annual Targeted Business Awards, presented by Pinnacle Financial Partners, on October 2 at SKYPAC. Country Oven Bakery received the evening’s top honor—the John B. Holland Business of the Year Award for its longstanding impact and innovation.

Caza Innovations, a fast-growing research and technology firm, has announced plans to relocate its corporate headquarters to Bowling Green, Kentucky. The company will also launch a strategic research and development partnership with Western Kentucky University, supporting WKU’s pursuit of R2 research classification and expanding opportunities for students and faculty.
