The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to introduce the Leadership Bowling Green Class of 2026, a dynamic group of 34 leaders representing a wide range of industries and organizations across our community.

South Central Kentucky proudly honors MAGNA’s two decades of innovation, job creation, and community impact in Bowling Green. Since opening in 2005, MAGNA’s automotive structural systems facility has grown to employ more than 1,400 people, serving major OEM customers across North America. The company’s continued investment in technology, workforce development, and local partnerships has strengthened the region’s position as a hub for advanced manufacturing. Leaders across the community praised MAGNA’s legacy, recognizing its role in shaping the local economy and supporting thousands of families.

ValorFlex Holdings of Kentucky, a veteran-owned leader in manufacturing, announced its plans today to establish its new corporate headquarters in Bowling Green, Kentucky, committing $6.4 million in capital investment and creating 25 new diverse high-paying full-time jobs.

Sandra Baker, Vice President of Education & Workforce at the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce, has been elected to the Board of Directors for the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE), a national organization representing over 9,000 chamber professionals. With more than four decades of experience in education and leadership, including nine years at the Chamber, Baker has spearheaded key initiatives such as SCK LAUNCH, Leadership Bowling Green, and Bowling Green Young Professionals. Her appointment to the ACCE Board highlights the Chamber’s commitment to innovative workforce development and brings national visibility to the impactful work being done in South Central Kentucky.

The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce has launched Pathway to Progress, a $3.9 million campaign driving regional growth through infrastructure, workforce, and innovation. With over $2.28 million already committed, the initiative builds on Bowling Green’s momentum as the nation’s #1 Tier 2 Metro and ensures the region continues to lead on a global stage.

ValorFlex Packaging of Kentucky, Inc., a veteran-owned flexible packaging company, is making Bowling Green its new home with a $23.4 million investment that will create 82 quality jobs.

What a day on the green! Thanks to our players, sponsors, volunteers, and Indian Hills for making the Chamber Golf Classic, presented by Graves Gilbert Clinic, a huge success. Despite a rainy start, 196 golfers brought energy and excitement, and we ended with sunshine and celebration. Can’t wait to see everyone next year at Bowling Green Country Club!
