Established in 1994 in Russellville, Kentucky, with just five employees and $500,000 in sales, the company has grown into a vital partner for manufacturers across the region, now boasting 50 full-time employees and nearly $10 million in annual sales.
Founded by Chappel Allen, Steve Allen, and Greg Allen, CGS Machine and Tool began its journey with a commitment to quality and innovation. In 2003, the company relocated to Bowling Green, opening a 25,000-square-foot facility at 2750 Griffin Dr. This move marked the beginning of a new chapter in the company’s history, enabling them to expand their services and reach a broader market.
The growth continued in 2011 with the opening of an additional 25,000-square-foot facility at 2859 Industrial Dr, further enhancing their capacity to serve both large and small-scale manufacturers in Bowling Green and the surrounding areas. Today, CGS Machine and Tool is owned and operated by Steve Allen and his son, Kyle Allen. Together, along with an exceptional group of employees and team members, have grown the company to serve more than 350 customers across 12 different states, demonstrating its commitment to delivering first-class machining services across the country.
