Since its inception, the Warren County Public Library system has provided free and open access to books, ideas, and information. While population growth and evolving technologies have changed the scope of services over time, the guiding principle of serving the community at large has remained its bedrock. Through the years, the library’s engaging and educational programs, inspirational and
entertaining collections, and current and reliable information resources continue to connect people to ideas and to each other.

Responding to the community’s needs, WCPL has developed a vibrant network of locations where individuals collaborate and groups gather. The International Center satellite library opened this summer, and in January the SoKY Marketplace will join the library family. In addition to expanded library locations, library staff continue to meet people where they are through a variety of delivery programs as well, including the Feed & Read program targeting low-income families and the Home Delivery program that serves homebound individuals and residents of nursing care facilities.

WCPL’s long-standing partnerships with the city, the county, and local school systems has strengthened community ties and maximized opportunities to reach students and citizens. Growing with Warren County, the library’s innovative approaches to outreach, access, and service has drawn unprecedented attendance at library and partnership programs in recent years. And with easily accessible passport services, meeting spaces, and free notary, faxing and printing services, the library helps individuals, organizations, and companies achieve more than ever before. Visitors of all ages and backgrounds can find individualized service at these WCPL locations: Lisa Rice Library, the Bob Kirby Branch, the Smiths Grove Branch, the Buchanon Park Branch, the Capitol, as well as at satellite libraries housed at HOTEL INC and the International Center. Specialized populations are served by satellite locations at Lifeworks by WKU, Parker Bennett Community Center, and the Foundry.
