LOCAL LEADER ELECTED TO INDUSTRY BOARD
Sandra Baker elected to board of directors for Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives

Alexandria, Va. (July 23, 2025) — Sandra Baker, Vice President of Education & Workforce, Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce has been elected to serve on the board of directors for ACCE, the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives, an Alexandria, Va.-based association of over 9,000 professionals who work for and with more than 1,300 chambers of commerce.

Members of ACCE’s board of directors represent more than 50 organizations, including many of the world’s largest and most influential regional chambers of commerce.

Baker brings more than 40 years of experience in leadership and education, including the past nine years at the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce, where she currently serves as Vice President of Education & Workforce. She leads the Chamber’s talent development efforts and flagship programs, including Leadership Bowling Green, Bowling Green Young Professionals, and the nationally recognized K-12 talent initiative, SCK LAUNCH. Prior to joining the Chamber, Baker served as Associate Executive Director at the Green River Regional Educational Cooperative, where she provided leadership, collaboration, and educational resources to 40 school districts, procuring and managing more than $51.2 million in funding to advance regional education initiatives. Her career reflects a deep commitment to building strong communities through workforce development, education, and cross-sector collaboration.
