Bowling Green Young Professionals kicked off 2026 in style at the New Year Membership Party on January 15 at The Mint Gaming Hall, drawing an impressive 117 attendees for an afternoon of networking, fun, and fresh momentum.
The event brought together new and returning members who mingled with BGYP leadership and committee members, setting the tone for a year focused on connection, engagement, and professional growth.
A highlight of the afternoon was the formal passing of the gavel from outgoing Chair Brittney Bennett (TriStar Greenview Hospital) to incoming Chair Heath Holloman (Murphy Construction Group), marking an exciting new chapter for the organization.
Guests also heard a welcome and New Year’s toast from Roddy Grimes, President/CEO of Stewart Richey and 2026 Chair of the BG Chamber Board of Directors, who shared enthusiasm for the year ahead and encouraged young professionals to stay engaged and involved in shaping Bowling Green’s future.
Attendees enjoyed Topgolf, shuffleboard, and interactive gaming throughout the space, along with opportunities to spin the prize wheel for free gameplay — keeping energy high and smiles plentiful.
The New Year Membership Party delivered exactly what BGYP does best: strong connections, lively experiences, and a powerful start to the year.
Here’s to an exciting and impactful 2026 for Bowling Green Young Professionals!
