Throughout February 92 students participated in 7 career shadowing experiences across 7 local businesses, getting a closer look at what it’s really like to work in South Central Kentucky’s thriving industries.
From Manufacturing & Healthcare to IT, Counseling & the Justice System, students took deep dives into local careers—seeing how skills and interest can grow into future careers. They toured facilities, met with professionals, and asked questions about the skills and education needed to succeed.
Students said they had a great time learning about everything from how products are made to how teams collaborate to serve customers and communities.
