On October 1, BG Young Professionals started the day with coffee and conversation at Lost River Cave. Members walked the trails alongside three of our community's leaders: Warren County Judge Executive Doug Gorman, Bowling Green Mayor Todd Alcott, and Warren County Attorney Amy Chandler. Instead of a podium and a crowd, the walk-and-talk format made for easy, one-on-one conversations about where our community is headed and how young professionals can be part of it.
A great time was had by all.
"Who Is Your BGYP Bestie?" - Abby Thomas caught up with members on the trail to hear about the connections they've made through BGYP. Watch for Bestie interviews on our social channels!
Missed it? There's one more chance this year.
Join us November 12 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at WKU's Eva & Jim Martens Alumni Center for our Lunch & Learn, “Multipliers: How Great Leaders Elevate Others.”
John Baker, COO of Vybond Group, Inc., will share how great leaders bring out the best in the people around them—and how you can become a Multiplier in your own workplace. Whether you lead a team today or are building toward that next opportunity, you’ll leave with practical ideas you can put to work right away.
