Leadership Bowling Green

Leadership Bowling Green is a leadership development program coordinated by the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce. The program, which began in 1985, involves seven day-sessions and two overnight retreats. The program begins in August with orientation and ends in April with graduation.

Applications become available the 1st week of May and are due by the end of June. After applications are submitted, 32 individuals are then chosen each year to participate in Leadership Bowling Green. During the nine sessions, the class studies the community's strengths and challenges through lectures, discussions, tours and role-playing activities. The goal is to gain a wide knowledge of Bowling Green through an overview of a variety of community functions.

All materials, meals and lodging are included in the $1,500 tuition fee.

Application for the 2020 Leadership Bowling Green program is CLOSED.
