OVERVIEW & GOAL

Our goal is to bring together members of the Leadership Bowling Green class to work on community service initiatives that will directly benefit local nonprofits and the individuals they serve. By leveraging our collective skills, resources, and dedication, we aim to create a meaningful and measurable impact on our community.

SELECTION CRITERIA

To select impactful community service projects in Warren County, the Leadership Bowling Green Class evaluates nonprofit submissions based on the following:

  • Visible Impact: The project must be completed within four hours and show clear, visible results.
  • Team Size: The project should require 10 to 20 participants for active involvement.
  • Timing: Projects must be scheduled between November and April of the class year.
  • No Fundraising: The project cannot depend on financial contributions from the Leadership Bowling Green class.
  • Point of Contact: The nonprofit must provide a dedicated contact person to coordinate with the team.
  • Scheduling Flexibility: The project must be available both during and outside regular business hours to accommodate class members’ schedules.
  • Participant Engagement: The project should actively involve class members through hands-on tasks such as building, problem-solving, or collaboration that are essential to its completion.

NONPROFIT ELIGIBILITY

The selected beneficiary must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofits organization or school in the Bowling Green and Warren County area.

SELECTION PROCESS AND TIMELINE

Application Deadline: Submit your application by October 31st, after reviewing the selection criteria.
Project Selection:  The Leadership Bowling Green class will evaluate applicants and select projects that our timeframe and require the highest-class member engagement. Applicants be contacted by November 10th.
